We are not interested in "mommy blogging" in the traditional sense; we are interested in journalism, memoir, and cultural criticism that happens to be written by mothers.

We generally do not publish work that has appeared elsewhere, including on your own blog or personal website. We do allow reprints after a 12-month exclusivity period.
We expect a high degree of polish in the initial draft. If we accept a pitch, we will provide specific editorial notes. We allow one round of revisions to address those notes before final publication.
Yes, we pay for all accepted photography. Rates vary based on usage and exclusivity, but we offer competitive industry-standard fees.
